| Around 4pm today I took all the junk that had piled up on the other side of the room and re-moved it back to my side of the room. After that, but before 8pm, other stuff had accumulated on that side of the room in a very oderly fashion. I have a new pretty roommate! She is nice. Sadly it will only be for three weeks, because next semester (woah, not ready for that, yet really ready) I am rooming with Cathy. But the next three weeks will be good and roommate filled. My time with a single has come to an end, and frankly, I am all right to see it go. Yeah, I will have to mind my mess and not be loud at night, but I think it will be worth it.
And yes, I do recognize that my new theme is difficult to read, but it is so gosh darn pretty, so just highlight where need be.
Hmmm, only four days until Saturday.

| Hmmmm, traditions are nice. Much of me resist tradition for tradition sake, but then the other part of me love's it and craves it sometimes. Every year my oldest brother and I go to the cinema. I don't really remember why we started doing this, but since Thanksgiving 2001 it is just what we do. First we saw the Harry Potter movies, but then we had to pick others. Last year I really missed this, and this today he didn't want to go because he was so tired. But after pretty much yelling at him, reminding him that it is our thing, he did decide to go along with it. We saw Stranger than Fiction and he said it was fantastic. And when we came home, my mom had pretty much cleaned up everything (she does have super powers, like all mothers). Yes, Thanksgiving does bring stress, but in the end, I love it, sitting around the table with family. We missed our extended family this year, which is sad since I don't get to see them that often, but it was still nice.
Yesterday we saw Wicked together. Yes, everyone says it is fantastic, and that is because it is. Getting into the city and past traffic is always a fight, and I was scared we were going to miss curtain, my worries didn't stop until we had parked in the garage, but then it was a liesurely 2 block walk to the theater. The seats we had were not the greatest, but it still made me almost shake with awe. Even though I knew the music before I went, it was still magical to see it done on stage, the voices, costumes, dancing, sets, everything. After the show we went to the old Berghof place (now called 17/West). While the menu is smaller, the food was still marvelous.
And now, now I am listening to Christmas music.
Favorite sight: snow fall during the night illuminated by lights Favorite scent: seven layer cookies right out of the oven Favorite sound: crickets chirping at night during the summer Favorite touch: feeling my cats' fur against my stomach Favorite taste: ripe oranges
